A bronze coin of Philip II of Macedonia from ~347 BC set into a 22K gold pendant. King Philip II is credited with restoring peace to the kingdom of Macedonia during his reign from 359 to 336 BC. Philip II’s horse won in the Olympics and was soon after placed on the backside of his coin; the first iterations of the coin had his horse facing left, and sometime after 346 BC the coin was minted with the horse facing to the right. Bring the history of Macedonia with you everywhere and, with it, the peace Philip II strived to establish.
